A Liverpool city centre bar is set to have a retro makeover as it launches a huge summer camp event.
PINS Social Club, on Duke Street, has announced its new four month-long Summercamp event, which is set to “ignite the ‘ol school nostalgia of summer camping daze”. The event is set to run from Thursday, June 2 until September.
In partnership with premium Tequila brand Patrón, Summercamp will see the three-storey Duke Street venue transformed with a retro makeover, complete with wooden camp cabins with their own animal patrol identity, Adirondack deckchairs, swing-seats and eye-catching mirror balls for when the sun goes down.

Throughout the day, visitors will be able to enjoy a variety of immersive experiences on the city’s largest heated rooftop bar, while enjoying music from DJs and live acts. Visitors can take part in craft workshops, outdoor games or relax and unwind with rooftop yoga. There will also be markets to enjoy throughout the summer.
After sunset, the party will move downstairs to the main bar, with themed Parade nights with bands, DJs, the PINS runway flag bearers and explosive ticker-tape shower. Visitors can dance the night away while enjoying camp-themed cocktails.
The drinks menu features everything from the Mango & Chilli Margarita to the Apple Pie Moonshine and Rhubarb Rancher. Slushies and sharers also feature on the menu and retro coolboxes will be available to order with bottle service to the table. You can even upgrade to a Premium coolbox, which includes a bottle of Patrón and mixers.
A Cook House food menu will be available with camp favourites and will be served from the rooftop. The menu includes Louisiana Chicken Burger, Buffalo and BBQ Pizzas, and Chicken Tenders, all dished up with classic American sides and slaws.
Jamie Finn, PINS general manager, said: “Summercamp is about igniting memories of hazy summer days and nostalgic good times, all whilst offering an exciting and varied event programme to keep customers entertained, day and night. We can’t wait to show off our new look and roster of events, the rooftop is going to be the place to be in Liverpool this summer”.
Entry to Summercamp is free but some specific events will require paid tickets which can be booked here .
