People in Merseyside were left in shock after a number of violent incidents including two shootings and a stabbing in the space of five days.
On Tuesday, it was reported a 23-year-old man was shot multiple times in a drive-by style attack on Hoole Road in Woodchurch on Tuesday, March 22. The victim was in a serious condition in hospital after the shooting.
A gunman in a dark coloured car is believed to have fired multiple shots at the victim, who was walking with a friend. Residents nearby said they heard between four and five "loud bangs" at the time of the shooting. One woman told the ECHO: "I was in the bath, came out and then saw this.
