Liverpool is preparing to celebrate Chinese New Year this weekend as the city welcomes the Year of the Rabbit.
A packed programme of free celebrations will take place on January 22 as Chinatown becomes home to a festival of colour and sound. The events will include the traditional dragon, lion and unicorn parades.
Guests can also enjoy firecracker displays, family workshops, tai chi demonstrations, live music and a fairground. There will also be a selection of food and craft stalls for visitors to browse.
