Liverpool are refusing to throw in the towel in their pursuit of Manchester City after a hard-earned win at Burnley.
Fabinho scored his fifth goal in seven games as the Reds scrapped to a 1-0 Premier League win on Sunday.
The result means Jurgen Klopp’s side have again closed the gap on the leaders to nine points with a game in hand.

But there was plenty that went unnoticed or under the radar during the 90 minutes at Turf Moor.
Trent once again
When will opposing fans ever learn?
First it was Chelsea. Then came Brentford. And now Burnley have discovered you simply don't taunt Trent Alexander-Arnold.
The home fans were having a proper laugh at the expense of the Liverpool man as he struggled in the howling wind to place the ball for a first-half corner.
Cue Alexander-Arnold promptly curling in a delivery that ultimately led to Fabinho scoring the only goal. Cheers, Turf Moor!
*RATE THE LIVERPOOL PLAYERS FOR THE WIN OVER BURNLEY:
Offside rule flagging
Liverpool's defenders certainly put in a shift, particularly during an opening 45 minutes in which Burnley made the most of the conditions.
But the visiting backline were made to work even harder by the ongoing rule that implores assistant referees to keep their flag down for often the most blatant of offsides until the attacking move has petered out.
It led to several occasions where a frantic interception was made or Alisson Becker produced a stop that was instantly rendered meaningless.
No wonder the Liverpool defenders, frustrated at yet another such call before the break, all turned to the assistant referee and vented their collective spleens.
Kostas gets a ride
It was a tough old encounter in traditional Lancashire conditions on Sunday.
And those watching in the stands and on the touchline didn't have much reason to cheer until Fabinho opened the scoring.
Cue ecstasy on the Reds bench as Thiago, who would later play a key role in the second half, jumped up from his seat to celebrate.
Barely a second later, he was pounced on by fellow substitute Kostas Tsimikas, with the Greek Scouser having a brief piggyback before returning to the bench. That's team spirit, folks.
Load of balls
In fact, the weather was that bad at Turf Moor, even the matchball decided it had suffered quite enough.
Moments into the second half, Alisson caught the attention of referee Martin Atkinson while holding the ball.
A long debate ensued while pressures were checked, with at one point there being three separate balls on the pitch.
Burnley fans, suspecting a bit of time-wasting on Liverpool's part, were unimpressed. Mind you, Alisson was in such top form the home side would have probably needed the extra footballs to find a way past the Reds goalkeeper.
