Liverpool player ratings as Alisson excellent and Thiago immense against Wolves

Alisson Becker 9

No chance with Neto opener but superb save denied Hwang shortly before half-time and kept Liverpool in game second half with string of excellent stops.

Trent Alexander-Arnold 6

Struggled at times to deal with the pace of Neto and Wolves routinely headed crosses away, but became more prominent second half.

Joel Matip 7

Kept his head at the back first half when the same couldn’t be said of his colleagues, and solid enough up against Jimenez. Booked.

Ibrahima Konate 6

Misjudged goal kick from Sa in build-up to Wolves opener and nervy on occasion, but good pass helped create equaliser.

Andy Robertson 6

Offered himself regularly going forward but quality of delivery frustratingly inconsistent. Kept at it and notched the third gleefully.

Jordan Henderson 6

Found it difficult to quell Wolves tide in opening 15 minutes before gradually getting a grip on matters. Solid enough second half.

Thiago Alcantara 9

Took the game by the scruff of neck from the off, made solid tackles, sprayed the ball about with ease and brilliant backflick set Mane away for leveller. Injury before half-time a massive blow.

Naby Keita 6

One shot blocked first half and looked to move ball forward but at times caught in possession. Better second half and sent Salah away for chance. Subbed.

Luis Diaz 7

Started brightly and missed early chance, but danger cutting inside seemed to lessen towards half-time. Flitted in and out second half.

Sadio Mane 8

A constant menace to the Wolves defence with his willingness to push high and took his equaliser superbly. Great end to the season.

Diogo Jota 6

Keen to prosper against his former team and caused some problems first half but not enough. Subbed.

James Milner (for Thiago 46) 6

Experience in the engine room during a frenetic, tense second half.

Mohamed Salah (for Jota 58) 7

Denied by a great tackle from Boly when played in by Keita and cleverly notched the second.

Roberto Firmino (for Keita 70) 6

Inconsistent in possession but nice one-two provided a goal for Robertson.
