Liverpool have offered a hint Tuesday's Champions League clash with Ajax is to go ahead after stating a final ticket sale is due to take place on Monday.
Members and season ticket holders were today denied the opportunity to purchase remaining unsold tickets for the midweek meeting due to the uncertainty caused by Premier League fixtures being cancelled this weekend. UEFA are yet to confirm their stance regarding upcoming games in Europe's elite competition, though fellow English clubs Arsenal and Manchester United both contested in their Europa League ties yesterday evening.
Liverpool's official account for fan services has updated supporters on the postponement of today's ticket sale, suggesting they 'expect' it to occur at 8:15am on Monday morning. "Following the postponement of tomorrow's match against Wolves, today's ST and Members' sale for the Ajax has been postponed. We expect this sale to go ahead on the morning of Monday 12 September and will confirm details in due course," a tweet read.

A further message on the club's ticketing section, added: "If we receive notification over the weekend that the Ajax match will also be postponed, the sale to Season Ticket Holders and Members will not go ahead. However, if the Ajax game is not postponed over the weekend, the sale will take place from 8.15am on Monday 12 September."
The Reds are planning for that fixture as normal as they get set for another busy couple of days conducting Champions League duties both at Anfield and the AXA Training Centre in Kirkby. It means Jurgen Klopp will next speak to the media at Anfield on Monday ahead of the visit from the Dutch giants as the Reds aim to bounce back from Wednesday night's 4-1 drubbing at the hands of Napoli in Italy.
