Popular greetings card company Clintons in Liverpool ONE has closed.
The smash-hit shopping complex in Liverpool's bustling city centre is home to more than 170 stores, bars and restaurants, as well as a 14-screen cinema, indoor golf courses, and a five-acre park.
It spans five areas including Paradise Street, South John Street, Peter's Lane, Hanover Street and the Leisure Terrace facing Chavasse Park. Clintons, based at 5 Wall Street, was nestled between Liverpool ONE's vast New Look store and Pull and Bear, opposite The Body Shop.

The store specialises in greetings cards and gifts for all manner of occasions, and has been a firm fixture on the high street since it was founded in 1968. There are a number of Clintons stores in Merseyside, but the Liverpool ONE branch was its only city centre location.
Last year, the card chain permanently closed a number of its stores across the country. Online, Clintons' Liverpool ONE closure is listed as temporary but the store looks empty and no longer sports any of its identifying signage.
It's also no longer included in Liverpool ONE's extensive online list of stores located at the leading retail and leisure destination. The ECHO has approached Liverpool ONE for comment.
