It would be fair to say that Liverpool’s 2022/23 season has been a disaster.
Jurgen Klopp’s side languish down in tenth in the Premier League standings having won just eight out of their opening 20 fixtures. Things went from bad to worse during their most recent outing as they were thumped by Wolves.
In more light-hearted news however, there is the cheeky hope that a few titles could be on their way to Anfield with Manchester City having been hit with over 100 charges for breaching the Premier League’s financial rules. With that being said, take a look at the latest news coming out of Anfield over the last 24 hours:
Reds sent Klopp sack message
Former Liverpool striker Stan Collymore has claimed that a vast array of Europe’s biggest clubs will be waiting in the wings to appoint Jurgen Klopp should the Reds choose to sack the German.
Speaking to CaughtOffside, he said: "The reality is, if FSG sack Klopp, there is no one else out there better equipped to do a better job. So anyone calling for him to go should be careful what they wish for because I’m certain that if he suddenly became available, you’d have Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, PSG and even Chelsea all lining up."

Murphy makes Henderson demand
Speaking of Klopp, it is being claimed by Danny Murphy that he is continually making an error by benching captain Jordan Henderson.
“I’m still surprised that every time I see a Liverpool team sheet,” the former midfielder told talkSPORT. “I don’t see them train, but I don’t care how he is training, Henderson plays every game for me, still.
“He is the heartbeat of the midfield, he’s still got the legs to do it, and for some reason, he [Klopp] keeps leaving him out."

Lucas makes Premier League question
Former Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva has jokingly questioned whether he is now a Premier League champion following the charges laid down to Man City.
Taking to Twitter after news surfaced, the Brazilian midfielder wrote: “Am I a Premier League champion?”
A further post shared his comment stating that Leiva had eyes on his Premier League winners’ medal before the now 36-year-old replied: “No I don’t. I just asked as I am confused!”
It remains to be seen if City have their titles won during the period they have been charged for retroactively stripped.
