Liverpool head into the international break down in the dumps.
After a stunning 7-0 victory over Manchester United, the Reds have slipped back into poor form and face 17 days without a game following back-to-back defeats. Firstly losing 1-0 away to relegation-threatened Bournemouth, Jurgen Klopp's side failed to make Real Madrid break sweat on Wednesday in their Champions League round-of-16 second leg.
Liverpool were beaten 1-0 thanks to Karim Benzema's late strike, giving Los Blancos a rousing 6-2 win on aggregate. Klopp and his Reds bosses now have the opportunity to sit down and prepare for not only the end of this season, but the summer transfer window, too.
Here's a round-up of the latest news from Anfield.
Midfield trio set to leave
Liverpool are set to wave goodbye to Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Arthur Melo this summer to kick-start a midfield overhaul. Jurgen Klopp will attend to his engine room over the coming months, as the trio are poised to depart at the end of the campaign.
With Arthur's season-long loan move from Juventus proving a failure, the Athletic add that Oxlade-Chamberlain and Keita will walk away on a free transfers when their contracts expire in June. The Reds are set to target Jude Bellingham and make him the centrepiece of their new-look midfield.

Branthwaite 'taking notice' of links
Everton starlet Jarrad Branthwaite admits that he's taken notice of Liverpool's interest in a transfer ahead of what could be a shock move across Merseyside. The 20-year-old centre-back, who's currently starring on loan at PSV Eindhoven, has been watched by Anfield scouts and exclusively told Mirror Football that he can't ignore the speculation.
"I think when all of those clubs are interested and watching your games, it's gonna be one of them where you take notice," Branthwaite confessed, having also been targeted by Manchester United and Italian giants Roma. "But for me it's just about playing the games. The first half of the season, I wasn't playing as many as I wanted, but now I'm just fully focussed on doing that and performing the best I can."

Klopp has already addressed Carragher plea
After Wednesday's limp loss to Real Madrid, Jamie Carragher urged Jurgen Klopp to go out and sign a right-back to challenge Trent Alexander-Arnold - but he already has. Over the summer, Liverpool swooped to sign Aberdeen prospect Calvin Ramsay in a £6.5million transfer deal.
Unfortunately for 19-year-old Ramsay, injuries have prevented him from seriously challenging Alexander-Arnold. A problem was detected shortly after the Scot arrived at Anfield, delaying his first-team debut, and then he suffered had a further setback in February when he confirmed that he'd gone in for surgery.
