Liverpool can edge closer to the Champions League places with a win over West Ham on Wednesday.
The Reds secured their second successive victory by beating Nottingham Forest in a five-goal thriller at Anfield but will be keen to collect yet another three points when they travel to the London Stadium next.
Jurgen Klopp's side currently sit seventh, nine points behind fourth-place Manchester United and can close the gap with a win over West Ham before United make the trip to fellow challengers Tottenham.
It is poised to be an entertaining end to the season, especially in the top-four race, as a number of sides battle it out to finish in the European places, with Brighton and Newcastle also firmly in the mix.
So, with that in mind, here is the latest news to come out of Liverpool.
Arthur praised by English coach
Arthur has been praised by his English teacher after the progress he has made during his time at Liverpool.
The Brazilian made the loan move to the Reds from Juventus last summer and has since been learning the new language as he integrates himself in the nation. Arthur has been taught by Language tutor Sara Duque, who has previously helped teach Tottenham's Richarlison.
Sharing Arthur's progress to her 196,000 Instagram followers Duque said: "I couldn’t be more proud of my student @Arthurhmelo incredible progress in English over the last 3 months. When we started, he didn’t speak any English at all, and it’s amazing to see how far he has come in such a short period of time through his dedication and hard work.
"We set a high bar for ourselves and Arthur has risen to the challenge with admirable determination. Of course, there is still more to do, but we are ambitious and committed to continuing our work to achieve our goals.
"Arthur’s progress is a proof of the power of effort and persistence, and I’m honoured to be a part of his language journey. Congratulations Arthur, you’re a true inspiration to many footballers."
Liverpool eyeing Chukwueze
Liverpool are eyeing up a move for Villarreal starlet Samuel Chukwueze in the summer.
Jurgen Klopp could be ready to endure a reshuffle in his Reds squad at the end of the season - and a right-winger may well be on his agenda to provide back-up for Mohamed Salah.
Citing reports in Spain, the Liverpool Echo claim that the Reds are looking to rival Real Madrid for Chukwueze's signature this summer. The Nigerian ace has scored 13 times in 41 appearances this season.
Chukwueze, 23, has plenty of admirers and Liverpool may have to battle to sign him. Alberto Moreno is a massive fan of the winger and admitted he reminds him of Sadio Mane.
"He's super incisive, fast; you never know where he's going to go," Moreno told Marca. "He's strong too, young, and defined. He's a lot like Sadio Mane. I've seen the two in training and they're very similar.
"He has a lot to learn because he's very young, but he'll become an even better player than he is [now]."
Antonio's Liverpool warning
Michail Antonio believes West Ham are full of confidence and "buzzing" ahead of their Premier League clash against Liverpool on Wednesday.
The Hammers picked up a morale-boosting 4-0 win over Bournemouth on the weekend thanks to goals from Antonio, Lucas Paqueta, Declan Rice and Pablo Fornals.
It was a result that moved them six points clear of the bottom three and Antonio is boeyed by West Ham's recent results as they prepare to face Liverpool at the London Stadium.
He said: "It has clicked overall and since the start of the year. We hadn’t been the best overall before that. It has been a long hard season, this has settled the boys.
"It draws us away from the pack giving a cushion away from those in the relegation zone. It's a good turn around from the week and we keep the momentum going as obviously we are trying to win the cup now.
"This last month of the season with the semi-final can become unbelievable, I feel another win secures Premier League for next year. We’re buzzing."
Declan Rice added: " The benchmark is 40 points, so it is important we don't get too comfortable. We have Liverpool next and we relish those kinds of nights."
