Liverpool's plan to evolve their midfield could involve another raid on Portugal's Primeira League, according to reports.
The Reds' have already drafted in two of the southern European league's biggest stars, in the shape of Luis Diaz from Porto and Benfica's Darwin Nunez, but now they are being linked with a third.
Portuguese outlet O Jogo claims that Jurgen Klopp's side has shown interest in Benfica midfielder Florentino Luis. The 21-year-old has been on loan with Monaco and Getafe for the past two campaigns but has since gone on to establish himself as a first-team regular for the Eagles under Roger Schmidt this season, helping to Lisbon side to sit at the top of the league table.

Having progressed through the youth set-up at Benfica, Luis could be just the type of player Klopp is looking for, but despite the reported interest, any imminent move now looks like a tall order.
Luis recently signed new years with the Lisbon club, tying him into a contract until 2027. The deal is understood to include a release clause but in order to activate it, interested parties - including the Reds - would have to stump up a whopping £104million to take him out of his new deal.
Luis currently represents Portugal at under-21 level, but has now set his sights on making it into his national team's World Cup squad next month. Should he achieve his goal, interest in the player is only set to intensify, for those with deep pockets at least.
