Tyler Morton's stock continues to rise with Blackburn Rovers supporters after the young Liverpool midfielder helped the Lancashire club secure a 3-0 win against Rotherham United on Saturday.
The Wirral-born player - on loan at Ewood Park until the end of the season - won an penalty for Rovers when he was pulled back by Grant Hall, allowing Ben Brereton-Diaz to convert from the spot. Jon Dahl Tomasson's side went on to score two further goals without replay, but it was the performance of Morton that got local journalists talking for Lancs Live.
Earning and eight out of 10 in their player ratings, reporter Elliott Jackson wrote: "His best game in a Blackburn Rovers shirt. Controlled the match and dictated the tempo which is what we have been waiting to see from him. Some lovely touches and quick feet to fool the opposition."

The result moves Blackburn up to seventh in the Championship. Here's a round-up of how the rest of Liverpool's loan players got on today around the country.
Leighton Clarkson - Aberdeen
It was an evening to forget for the Dons, who suffered a surprise 4-0 pasting at the hands of bottom-of-the league Dundee United. Clarkson was a second-half substitute and was very quickly able to get a foothold in the game but it was too late to avert a sorry defeat.
Conor Bradley - Bolton Wanderers
Started for Bolton Wanderers against Forest Green but was subbed on 78 minutes as the Trotters suffered a 1-0 away loss.
Marcelo Pitaluga – FC Macclesfield
Breached in the sticks just the once as Danny Whitaker's Silkmen romped home 6-1 against Bamber Bridge.
Vitezslav Jaros – Stockport County
Kept a clean sheet as the Hatters won 1-0 away to Bradford City.
Adam Lewis – Newport County
Hooked at half-time as the South Wales club suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Rochdale.
Max Woltman – Doncaster Rovers
Brought on at half-time with Rovers trailing and helped rescue a point. Almost won the game for Doncaster at the death but saw his shot blocked.
Fidel O’Rourke – Caernarfon Town
Took only four minutes to find the net against Flint Mountain in a 4-0 Welsh Cup victory on Friday evening, but sent spiralling into the air by the opposition goalkeeper in the process. Nasty fall but got his goal.
Jack Bearne – Kidderminster
Subbed with quarter of an hour to go in a 2-0 home defeat at the hands of Farsley Celtic.
