Manuel Ugarte's agent has revealed his client is almost certain to leave Sporting Lisbon this summer as Liverpool remain interested.
The 22-year-old has come under the spotlight after some fantastic performances for Sporting this season and Jurgen Klopp has reportedly identified Ugarte as someone who could possibly come in and change the fortunes of his Reds midfield.
It is reported that the Uruguayan midfielder has a release clause worth £53 million to get him out of Portugal, but it remains unclear as to whether Liverpool will pursue a move.

Ugarte's agent Jorge Chijane spoke to Portuguese outlet O Jogo to address the future of his Uruguayan client: “It is almost certain that he will not stay, it is certain that he will leave.
“I’ll be in Lisbon soon. I trust Jorge Mendes, who is the best businessman in the world. In fact, when I first spoke to him at Ugarte, he said to me: ‘Your eyes are my eyes.'
“Liverpool? There’s a lot of talk, but it’s not the only club [interested], there are others. There’s a lot of talk, but I’m still not sure about the club. There are many hypotheses on the table. I believe that in 15 days the situation will be resolved.”
