Liverpool are reportedly one of three clubs that are in the running to sign Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante.
The Reds have been linked with a move for the France international in recent days. The 31-year-old’s contract at Stamford Bridge is currently set to expire at the end of the season.
Reports have suggested that Liverpool could look to sign Kante as a free agent in the summer. However, a fresh article from Spain has suggested they will have competition for his signature.

According to Fichajes, the Reds are one of three possible destinations that Kante could move to come the conclusion of the 2022-23 campaign. The other two clubs are Real Madrid and Barcelona.
It has been claimed that Liverpool could “make things very difficult” for Barcelona to try and sign the France international. The report states that Kante is the “main candidate” that the Reds are looking at to strengthen their midfield.
The article goes further by explaining how Real Madrid could be interested in signing the World Cup winner. It has been claimed that the reigning European champions are also looking to strengthen their midfield options, due to a “drop” in performance levels of the likes of Luka Modric and Toni Kroos.
Liverpool and Madrid have also been linked with a move for Jude Bellingham. The Borussia Dortmund midfielder is well known to have admirers at both clubs, but it remains to be seen what happens in the summer.
