Could the Reds be set to sign a young Barcalona star this summer?
Accoring to Gerard Romero, who covers the Catalan club, Liverpool are one of several clubs who have already tabled a bid for the exciting 17-year-old.
Already a Spanish international, midfield Gavi is one of the most in-demand young players in Europe, with Barca desperate to tie him down to a new deal.
But according to Romero, Liverpool have tabled an offer for the player, who's current contract is due to expire in 2023.

According to Italian outlet Calciomercato, Liverpool now face competition from AC Milan for the signature of Fulham's Fabio Carvalho.
The Reds came extremely close to signing the highly-rated attacking midfielder on transfer deadline day, but could not complete the deal in time.
The 19-year-old is understood to still be keen on a move from Craven Cottage to Anfield - but is also apparently subject to firm interest from the Milanese club and also Liverpool's Premier League rivals Arsenal.
Carvalho is part of a Fulham team that is currently riding high at the summit of the Championship with the West London club seemingly on course for a return to the Premier League.

Liverpool are reportedly keen to sign Real Sociedad attacker Alexander Isak.
The Swedish international, who is also a target for Arsenal and Manchester United, has only scored four goals in La Liga this season, after netting 17 times in the last campaign.
But according to AS, Liverpool are prepared to table a bid of £58.6million for the 22 year-old, who has also played for Jurgen Klopp's former side Borussia Dortmund.
