Jamie Carragher revealed how he managed to acquire Paulo Maldini's shirt after Liverpool miraculous victory in the 2005 Champions League final against AC Milan.
The Milan legend opened the scoring for the Italian side in Istanbul after just a minute before a Hernan Crespo double before half-time. Ex-Reds captain Steven Gerrard pulled one back nine minutes after the break as Vladimir Smicer and Xabi Alonso levelled.
After defending resolutely during extra-time, Liverpool beat Milan 3-2 in a penalty shootout to pull off the greatest comeback in Champions League history.

Carragher was working for CBS Sports on Wednesday night as he sat beside Thierry Henry and Micah Richards to cover the Champions League semi-final between Inter Milan and AC Milan.
After asking Maldini if he would like his shirt back, Carragher went on to tell the story of how he acquired the famous black and red top.
“I have to tell the story of how I got the shirt, obviously it was a disappointing night for AC and all their players so they left all their medals, they left all their shirts in the dressing room," Carragher said via CBS Sports.
"So, the young players from Liverpool went in and took them – we have shirts and we have medals in Liverpool from 2005!”
