Ex- Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy has claimed that the Reds have discovered a "long-term" solution when it comes to eventually replacing the legendary attacking trio of Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
All three of the Liverpool legends are approaching or have already turned 30 years of age and despite providing the Anfield faithful with some amazing moments over the last five seasons or so, are potentially nearing the end as a trio.
What has long been a concern for presumably both Jurgen Klopp and Reds supporters is the fact that all three will have just one year left on their respective deals come the end of the current campaign.
Liverpool are going to have to tie all three down to new deals in the summer or risk losing any or even all of them for free the following year.

However, it is not all doom and gloom as Murphy points out as Liverpool now have a wealth of attacking options that could come in and bear the weight of the goal-scoring burden.
The former Reds midfielder feels like his old side now have a plan in place to deal for the departures of their current stars now that new signing Luis Diaz as well as Diogo Jota and Harvey Elliott have all broken into the team.
"When you look at the youngsters Klopp is bringing in, you can see he is trying to mix things up and change things a little bit," Murphy told talkSPORT.
"Luis Diaz looked tremendous [against Leicester ], you've got Harvey Elliott on the way back, Curtis Jones is getting back to his best, Ibrahima Konate is young, Jota is firing in goals.
"You can see it's a bit of a long-term plan going on with Liverpool at the moment.
"People say Jota is a number nine now, but these guys play all over the place, he's on the left, he's on the right, he's through the middle – he's just got this wonderful knack of gliding into great areas."
Murphy went on to wax lyrical about Jota, who stepped up when his side needed him most while Salah and Mane were away at the Africa Cup of Nations.
"His goals to games ratio is phenomenal and his technique...he's so calm around the box.
"He was the the first player to come into Liverpool and get people discussing that the front three of Firmino, Salah and Mane might not have to be the answer for the next five years."
There looks to be a positive road ahead for the Reds, but all Liverpool attackers - both young and old - will have to pull in the same direction in front of goal if they are to stand any chance of catching league-leaders Manchester City this season.
