Leeds United are reportedly interested in signing Fulham's Fabio Carvalho in the January transfer window as Marcelo Bielsa aims to strengthen his forward line.
That's according to the Daily Mail, who claim that the Whites, Liverpool and West Ham United are monitoring the talented 19-year-old, who has less than six months left on his contract.
The Lisbon-born playmaker has been in impressive form for the Championship table-toppers throughout the 2021/22 campaign, grabbing eight goals and two assists in 17 appearances.
This is after netting once in four Premier League matches last season and the highly-rated attacking midfielder has attracted plenty of attention across Europe.
Carvalho's recent form has only increased the amount of interest in him, after scoring twice in the recent 6-2 win over Birmingham City, before firing home against Stoke City on Saturday.
It's no surprise that Leeds are tracking his progress given his record and the reputation he's built in the second tier this campaign, helping the Cottagers to the top of the division in the process.

However, Fulham are desperate to keep Carvalho at Craven Cottage this month and see him as an integral member of their squad as they bid for an instant return to the top-flight.
It looks increasingly unlikely that the Cottagers will be able to convince him to stay in the summer, even if they do secure promotion, so any side interested will have to move quickly to get ahead in the race for his signature.
Chelsea and Real Madrid have also been linked with Carvalho in the past, but Leeds will be hoping to beat stiff competition to get their man before the end of the month.
There have been some calls for Bielsa to add another attacker in January given Patrick Bamford's fresh injury blow and the Whites' struggles in the final third.
Raphinha is currently Leeds' top scorer with eight goals, while Joe Gelhardt, Daniel James, Tyler Roberts and Rodrigo have netted just six between them this season.
It was evident that the Whites lacked more creativity in the 1-0 defeat against Newcastle United and Carvalho might be the answer to their struggles after some excellent performances for Fulham in recent weeks.
Leeds chief executive Angus Kinnear spoke about the importance of youth in the Newcastle matchday programme and Carvalho could be the type of player he would target given his age and potential.
Eighteen-year-old Mateo Joseph is Leeds' only signing of the month so far, but he has joined up with the Under 23s side, while Brenden Aaronson and Boubacar Kamara continue to be linked with a move to Elland Road.
With Carvalho's contract out in May, the Whites could gamble and wait until the end of the season to try and sign him on a free transfer or decide to move early in the current transfer window.
