Liverpool join Premier League rivals Arsenal in transfer race to sign 'Ukrainian Neymar'

Liverpool are reportedly interested in Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhaylo Mudryk, who was linked with Arsenal during the summer.

The 21-year-old is one of the best young footballers in Ukraine and has impressed in the Champions League this season, scoring two goals and providing two assists in his two appearances against German giants RB Leipzig and Scottish champions Celtic.

The inexperienced star has played just over 50 club games to date but has been dubbed the 'Ukrainian Neymar' - such is his talent. Mudryk was close to joining Brentford in January and has expressed a desire to play in the Premier League later in his career.
