Liverpool John Lennon Airport has signed a major deal with the owner of the Stanlow refinery in Ellesmere Port.
Essar Oil (UK) is to directly supply aviation fuel to commercial airlines at the airport.
The deal brings Essar’s total number of access agreements to six airports across the UK, which includes Manchester, Birmingham and London Stansted.
