Liverpool: Joe Gomez injury latest as defensive injuries mount ahead of Champions League clash

Arne Slot is not confident that Joe Gomez will be fit to face Qarabag in the Champions League on Wednesday after he was injured in Liverpool’s defeat by Bournemouth on Saturday night.

The centre-back started at the Vitality Stadium but was not able to complete the first-half. He collided awkwardly with Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson as he attempted to block Evanilson’s opener and was replaced by Wataru Endo after receiving treatment.
