Trent Alexander-Arnold, Fabinho and Alisson Becker made their returns to the AXA Training Centre on Monday as Liverpool geared up their preparations for this week's clash with Manchester City.
The trio had all been handed a week's rest after their exploits in the World Cup had seen their respective nations, Brazil and England, reach the quarter-final stages of the competition.
After nearly two weeks in the Middle East, a 33-man Liverpool squad returned to Merseyside over the weekend after competing at the Dubai Super Cup during the Premier League's six-week hiatus.

On Friday, manager Jurgen Klopp confirmed that the trio could be involved in Thursday's trip to the Etihad. However, he also noted that Virgil van Dijk would not be risked after playing five times as he captained the Netherlands to the last eight of the finals.
Captain Jordan Henderson, who was also part of the Three Lions' 26-man squad, visited the NAS Sports Complex in Dubai on Monday of last week as he was reunited with his team-mates for a meet and greet, before training unofficially in the Middle East ahead of making a return to the AXA Centre this week.
Up next for Klopp's men is back-to-back away trips to Manchester City and Aston Villa.
