Who?
Arnaut Danjuma.
Where?
What?
Villarreal are prepared to offload Arnaut Danjuma this summer, one report has suggested. The Dutch winger has enjoyed a standout debut campaign in Spain, bagging 16 goals in all competitions and helping Unai Emery's side reach the semi-finals of the Champions League. It has seen him linked with various top teams, including the Reds.
A seventh-placed finish in La Liga has ensured the Spanish side will not be competing in Europe's elite competition next season, however, and will instead participate in the UEFA Conference League. The financial impact of failing to secure Champions League football will likely lead to 'market movements', claim Marca, with Pau Torres and Pervis Estupinan also up for sale.
Who?
Gavi.
Where?
What?
Liverpool reportedly remain in the running to sign Barcelona midfielder Gavi as uncertainty over his future at the Spanish club continues. Out of contract next summer, the 17-year-old is yet to reach an agreement over a new deal and could walk away from the club on a free transfer in 2023.
But Liverpool could act before then, as the above article claims, by paying the €50million (£42m) release clause in his contract. It is understood that Klopp's side are 'waiting for a response', from Gavi and his representatives and are hopeful of receiving an answer 'in the coming days'.
Who?
Christian Eriksen.
Where?
What?
Gary Neville has urged Liverpool to make a move for Christian Eriksen this summer following his impressive return to the Premier League at Brentford.
The Danish midfielder joined the Bees in January on a short-term deal until the end of the season and made a positive impact by helping Thomas Frank's side comfortably retain their top-flight status. Explaining why Eriksen would be a good fit for the Reds, Neville said: “If you were any top-six club, that were looking at a midfield three, and you wanted a player to go in there and play 30 games for you in a squad-type (role). He could play for Man City, Liverpool and for any club in the top-six. I am not saying starting every week. What Shaqiri was doing for Liverpool.
“If Liverpool are looking for a midfielder to come on for Thiago, say who gets injured a little bit, why would you not look at Eriksen? Look at him for two seasons to do a job for you."
