Liverpool's pre-season is underway as Jurgen Klopp gets ready to welcome back a host of first teamers to Kirkby.
It's been an exciting off season so far for the Reds with the acquisitions of Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai but now all attention will be on getting Liverpool into top condition as they look to break back into the top four next season. Klopp's men now have five matches announced as they make their bid for full fitness.
Eight members of Klopp’s senior squad are set to return for day one of pre-season including Adrian, Stefan Bajcetic, Fabinho, Joe Gomez, Joel Matip, Darwin Nunez, Nathaniel Phillips and Thiago Alcantara. Harvey Elliott and Curtis Jones will join up at a later date following their successful stint with England in the U21 European Championship.
First up are games against Karlsruher SC and Greuther Furth in Germany. They will then entertain Leicester City and Bayern Munich as part of their Singapore tour, before returning to the UK to meet SV Darmstadt 98 at Preston North End's Deepdale stadium.
