Castore, a sportswear business founded in Liverpool and backed by Andy Murray, has received a new financial boost.
The company was founded in 2016 by Wirral-born brothers Tom and Phil Beahon and had its first offices on Tithebarn Street.
It now supplies kits for a number of sports teams around the world and has this month signed a financing facility with NatWest, which it says it will use for "general corporate purposes" and "continue driving transformational growth in keeping with its better never stops ethos", reports BusinessLive.

In essence, the financing facility means that Castore can borrow money up to a particular amount from Natwest if and when they need it.
Co-founder Tom Beahon said: "Securing this debt facility with NatWest is a significant step in Castore’s exciting growth plans.
"Castore’s business model combines the most attractive aspects of Team Sports and D2C apparel to produce an optimal blend of high growth and low risk.
"This facility will help further accelerate Castore on its mission of becoming the #1 premium sportswear brand in the world by 2025."
Chris Logan, senior director of corporate and commercial banking at NatWest, added: "We have been long admirers of Castore and are delighted to have secured this facility with the business.
"The business has delivered exceptional financial performance since inception, and we look forward to a long-term partnership as the business continues its stellar growth trajectory."
Castore currently provides kit for Andy Murray (who also owns shares in the company), the West Indies cricket team, Newcastle United, Glasgow Rangers, and McLaren F1.
The company will take over as the England cricket team’s kit supplier later this year.
The move also comes after Castore became the kit partner of Bundesliga club Bayer 04 Leverkusen last month.
In a recent interview with BusinessLive , Castore also revealed plans to create up to 150 jobs in 2022.
