Luis Diaz and his partner have been flooded with messages of support after announcing their engagement.

The Liverpool FC winger has been in a happy relationship with Gera Ponce since 2016 and they share a daughter named Roma. Gera regularly shares updates from their exciting life away from the pitch with her 303,000 Instagram followers.

She has taken to the social media platform today to reveal the new number 7 staged a romantic proposal in Colombia. She shared a clip from the night as Diaz surprised his new fiancée by getting down on one knee against a stunning waterfront backdrop.
