The legendary Liverpool FC midfielder has been married to Alex Gerrard since 2007. The couple are the proud parents of four children, Lilly, Lexie, Lourdes and Lio.
The former Reds' captain regularly shares updates from his happy family life with his 10.8m Instagram followers. The 42-year-old has taken to the social media platform today in celebration of the most romantic day of the year.

Gerrard has been using the social media platform to celebrate the sporting achievement of his children over recent weeks.
He took to Instagram last year to reveal Lourdes is a talented swimmer. Gerrard shared a snap of his youngest daughter as he showed off a medal she won in a competition. He captioned the post: "In the medals my girl."
