Liverpool will be faced with important decisions to make during the transfer window regarding the future of first-team players.
The Reds have already parted company with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, James Milner, Naby Keita and Roberto Firmino, who each left on free transfers, meanwhile an undisclosed fee was banked for Leighton Clarkson to join Aberdeen.
Jordan Henderson and Thiago Alcantara are the latest players to be linked with a move away from the club, both reportedly attracting interest from Saudi Arabia, though it remains to be seen who the club decide to cash in on in the coming weeks.

Luis Diaz is the player fans most wish to see stay at Anfield, with 98.1% of people voting to keep the Colombian at Anfield. There was also a strong backing for Darwin Nunez (91%) to remain a Red, despite some supporters raising concerns over whether the Uruguayan has a major part to play next term.
First-team regulars such as Diogo Jota, Virgil van Dijk and Alisson Becker also received over 90% of the vote and are certainties to be key squad members once again in 2023/24.
Not backed to the same degree, 80% are hopeful Henderson will be kept for another season of service amid reported interest from Saudi Arabia. Also being tipped for a similar departure, Thiago is rather surprisingly only wanted by 59% of fans.
There was even less love for the centre-backs currently at the club, with Nat Phillips (26%), Rhys Williams (28%), Joel Matip (40%) and Joe Gomez (47%) the primary candidates to be sold - if supporters had it their way in the window.
