Liverpool fans think they have spotted a hint in the Jude Bellingham transfer saga after reading into a tweet sent by Borussia Dortmund on Saturday.
The Reds are interested in Bellingham but the ECHO understands a move for the England international won't be made this summer after the German club made it clear they won't be selling after Erling Haaland left for Manchester City.
Dortmund took to Twitter to post: 'You'll Never Walk Alone!'. And Reds fans have taken that as an indicator as to where Bellingham could be playing his football once his time in Germany is up.
After tweeting the name of the song Liverpool fans sing famously before every match at Anfield, the replies to the tweet were flooded with supporters of Jurgen Klopp's side talking about Bellingham.
One Reds fan replied to Dortmund's tweet saying: "Is this a sign you want us to get Jude?"
Liverpool are facing a minor injury crisis in the centre of the park with calls to sign a new midfielder now as loud as ever after Thiago Alcantara limped off with a hamstring problem in the 2-2 draw at Fulham in Saturday's Premier League opener.
Another supporter pleaded with the German club to 'give' Bellingham to the Reds: "Pls...gve us jude."
