Liverpool fans could see Alexis Mac Allister in action sooner than they think

Fresh from undertaking his Liverpool medical, Alexis Mac Allister will soon reunite with his World Cup-winning team-mates as Argentina prepare for their latest round of international friendlies.

After a stellar season with club and country, the soon to be ex-Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder has been called up to Lionel Scaloni's squad for Argentina's double-header with Australia and Indonesia.

By the time those games come around, it is expected that Mac Allister will be a Liverpool player. And the 24-year-old's arrival is set to kick-start a busy summer of transfer activity at Anfield.
