Liverpool are reportedly demanding around £30m for Neco Williams and Nathaniel Phillips should the pair depart Anfield this summer.
The duo impressed last season having joined Championship outfits Fulham and Bournemouth on-loan. Each earned promotion to the Premier League, with Williams’ Fulham side having won the title, whilst the Cherries were promoted in second place.
Philipps, 25, made 18 appearances for the south coast club and impressed enough to tempt them into making a permanent move for his services. It is claimed by The Sun that Scott Parker’s side are ‘desperate’ to retain the Englishman’s services at the Vitality Stadium as they prepare to make their return to the top-flight.
It remains to be seen whether they would make a renewed effort to sign him on-loan or on a permanent deal but Liverpool would reportedly be demanding £15m for his services should they choose to sell. Meanwhile, it is suggested that the Reds would also request a similar fee for fellow academy graduate Williams.
The 21-year-old Welshman made 15 appearances for Fulham after joining mid-way through the season and scored two goals as the London side continued their relentless pursuit of promotion. The reports state that he could see his opportunities on Merseyside and could seek a transfer away in the near future.
Should both be sold then the fees received could go a long way in assisting boss Jurgen Klopp in the transfer market. The Reds were hit with another gutting blow following their Champions League final defeat at the hands of Real Madrid with the news that Sadio Mane has reportedly decided to wave goodbye to Anfield.

The Senegalese is out of contract at the end of next season and has been linked with a switch to German giants Bayern Munich. Now, according to reports, he has made the decision to quit a year early and could secure a move as early as this summer.
With Mo Salah also seeing his contract expire at the end of next season, that could potentially see the Reds low on forward options and needing investment. They have been linked with Benfica hot-shot Darwin Nunez ahead of the transfer window opening, but it is suggested that the Portuguese giants will only sell for a fee of €100m (£84.9m) and Liverpool face considerable competition for his services from Premier League rivals Man Utd.
Klopp has previously been highly complimentary of the Uruguayan marksman having twice found the net against the Reds in the Champions League this season. "[He’s] really good, really good, I have to say," Klopp admitted.
"I knew him before, of course, but he played pretty much in front of me with these tough battles with Ibou Konate.
“Physically strong, quick, was calm around his finish when he finished the goal off. Good, really good. Obviously how you say in these situations, if he stays healthy, it’s a big career ahead of him."
