A casting agency is looking for people from Liverpool to audition for paid roles in a number of upcoming Hollywood feature films.
Key Casting, a UK based agency, is heading to Liverpool on Friday May 19 to cast extras for a number of new projects. The agency could not reveal more details on the films but has previously worked on the most recent James Bond and Netflix series Sex Education and Bridgeton.
The casting day will be held at the Crypt Hall at Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral with hopefuls being asked to bring ID and wear anything they like but to “please avoid white.” The session will run from 10am until 8pm with people being asked to come anytime between these hours to register their interest.

Liverpool has enjoyed a boom in filming in recent years with a number of high profile productions using the city as its backdrop. New studio space opened in 2021 to help bolster the city’s reputation as the ‘Hollywood of the north’ with further hopes of building a new film studio on the site of the former Littlewoods building.
