Liverpool 'discover' Nicolo Zaniolo valuation as Arnaut Danjuma exit claim made

Liverpool are in FA Cup action this weekend as Jurgen Klopp's side go in search of a second piece of silverware of the current campaign.

The Reds got the better of Chelsea at Wembley in the Carabao Cup final earlier this year at Wembley and will be hoping for the same outcome on Saturday afternoon in the world's oldest domestic cup competition. Claiming a second trophy of the season would set Liverpool up nicely for the Champions League showpiece fixture to come in two weeks.

For players debating a move to Anfield this summer, witnessing the success of this Liverpool side could play a significant role in their decisions to move and there's every chance Klopp's men end the season with at least three trophies. Below are the latest Liverpool transfer rumours as we approach the final weeks of the 2021/22 campaign.

What?

The Villarreal forward was linked with a move to Anfield during the January transfer window and later faced up against the Reds in the semi-finals of the Champions League. Danjuma stayed put at the Spanish side in the last transfer window, but could be on the move this summer.

Speaking on Radio Castellon, the agent of the Dutch international stated there is a 50 per cent chance the 25-year-old could exit Villarreal in the weeks ahead. The January arrival of Luis Diaz may have altered the Reds' mind regarding pursuing a deal for Danjuma, however.

Nicolo Zaniolo

What?

Roma could cash in on midfielder Nicolo Zaniola should an offer in the region of £60million arrive for the talented 22-year-old. Jose Mourinho's side are understood to be ready to negotiate a new deal, but could be swayed should a transfer bid of this size arrive.

Gazzeta Dello Sport have stated Zaniola's preference is to remain in Italy, which could be made possible as the likes of AC Milan and Juventus weigh up their options. The report adds that Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur have continued to track the progress and could test the resolve of Roma with a big-money proposal.
