Bobby Clark ended a memorable week by earning Liverpool a point in their Premier League 2 clash against Manchester United.
Clark, the 17-year-old midfielder who made his first-team debut in the home romp over Bournemouth last weekend, netted in the second half as the Reds under-21 side came from behind to earn a 2-2 draw in Saturday's clash at the Academy in Kirkby.
Barry Lewtas's side had taken the lead nine minutes before the break when Clark teed up Jake Cain to fire home from the edge of the box via a slight deflection.

Cain, who turned 21 the day before, was Liverpool's outstanding performer and had earlier hit the bar and created a chance for the lively Layton Stewart.
United, though, began the second half strongly, levelling through Isak Hansen-Aaroen on 50 minutes and going ahead six minutes later through a Charlie McNeill penalty after Dom Corness was adjudged to have fouled Hansen-Aaroen.
But Liverpool were back on level terms within four minutes when, having been felled in the area for a penalty, Clark was quickest to react to the rebound after Stewart's spot kick was saved by United goalkeeper Radek Vitek.
Liverpool U21s are next in Premier League 2 action on Saturday when they travel to Chelsea (kick-off 12pm).
LIVERPOOL U21s (4-3-3): Mrozek; Mabaya, Quansah, Jonas, Chambers; Corness, Clark, Cain (Stephenson 83); Frauendorf (Cannonier 68), Stewart (Blair 86), Norris. Subs: Hughes, Olufunwa.
