Liverpool are set to end the January transfer window in a healthy position.

Jurgen Klopp's side have already confirmed the £49million arrival of Porto winger Luis Diaz and are now attempting to bring Fulham midfielder Fabio Carvalho to the club.

The ECHO understands that the Reds have tabled a £5million bid for the 19-year-old midfielder, who has attracted widespread interest after shining for Marco Silva's side in the Championship
