Ireland defender Niamh Fahey will captain Liverpool against her former club Arsenal as the Reds look to upset the odds and reach the FA Cup quarter-finals.
The game will be the first domestic English women's match to be broadcast live on RTÉ News Now on Sunday afternoon (kick-off 12pm).
Championship leaders Liverpool have a considerable Irish contingent in their ranks with top scorer Leanne Kiernan and full-back Megan Campbell also on board.
The trio, along with Arsenal's Katie McCabe, were part of Vera Pauw's side that won third place at last week's Pinatar Cup in Spain, beating Wales in a tight play-off game.
Fahey, who has also lined out for current WSL champions Chelsea and Bordeaux, is accustomed to success, having won five FA Cups in seven years with the Gunners.
She also won four league titles with Arsenal, having initially joined the North London side from Salthil Devon in 2008.
“It was an amazing period of my career and one that I look back on with massively fond memories,” says Fahey.
“It's a competition I love and hopefully we can continue to have a good run in it here at Liverpool. I’m really looking forward to it and I know all the rest of the girls are.
"Obviously with it being a cup game anything can happen and with it being against Arsenal as well it’s a dream fixture for me really.”
Fahey was handed the captain's armband for her country as she reached 100 caps in the Pinatar Cup win over Poland, becoming just the tenth player to reach the milestone.
She adds: “It’s been an absolute honour to represent my country and to have done so 100 times is a huge privilege.
“I’m just immensely proud every time I pull on the green shirt. I am a passionate and a proud Irish woman and to reach that figure is special.”
