Liverpool were celebrating a memorable Merseyside derby victory on Sunday after Virgil van Dijk headed home a 100th-minute winner.
It was a major boost to Liverpool's Champions League qualification chances, and gave them the bragging rights over Everton in the first derby at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
But it was not entirely positive news for the Reds as they made the short trip home.
Goalkeeper injury leaves Liverpool down to bare bones
Goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili was forced off in the second half of the game after a collision with Everton striker Beto.
With first-choice keeper Alisson also out injured, Liverpool could be left with something of an injury crisis in the position.

Head coach Arne Slot provided an update on Mamardashvili, revealing that the Georgian had a “big wound”, but will not be a long-term absentee.
“He has gone off to hospital,” Slot told Sky Sports. “It looked to me, and that’s also what they told me, that he had a big wound – an open wound. That’s of course not going to be a long-term injury. Let’s see if he is available for next week.
“We’ve had almost in all positions our problems and now even two goalkeepers being out.
“So it’s a good thing that we have three goalkeepers, because we usually don’t have three full-backs or three No.9s or three left wingers, and now it happens in a position where we have three players.”
Freddie Woodman, Liverpool’s third choice, replaced Mamardashvili for the remainder of the Everton clash.

Alisson, meanwhile, is expected to return to fitness towards the end of April, having been out since Liverpool’s 4-0 win over Galatasaray in the Champions League last month.
Slot will hope to have his best goalkeeper available again soon, with some key games coming up in the Premier League.
Liverpool face Manchester United, Chelsea and Aston Villa in May, with all clubs looking to secure European football.
