Liverpool and Arsenal target 'willing to take pay cut' to leave Real Madrid

Barcelona boss Xavi is attempting to rejig his squad against the backdrop of the club's ongoing financial problems.

The Catalan giants remain at loggerhead with Bayern Munich over their move for Robert Lewandowski and the Bundesliga side insist they want a fee of 50million euros for the Poland striker.

Real Madrid also have issues and Champions League winner Marco Asenio, who has been linked with Liverpool and Arsenal, is said to be ready to take a pay cut to force through a move away from the Bernabeu.
