LIV Golf rebel Talor Gooch has turned up the heat on Shane Lowry ahead of their reunion at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship next week.
After his BMW PGA victory at Wentworth eight days ago, Lowry declared 'This is for the good guys' - referring to the golfers who had remained loyal to the PGA Tour and DP World Tour.
Eighteen players from the Saudi-backed LIV Golf series competed at Wentworth and Lowry, who stated at the start of the week that he "can't stand" the rebels being in the field, explained why winning was extra special.

"I made no secret how I feel about the whole thing,' said Lowry after securing his first Tour victory since his Open triumph in Portrush in 2019.
"I wanted to win for myself first and foremost, but for everyone that has stayed loyal to this Tour I really feel this is one for the good guys."
Gooch, 30, was the highest placed of the LIV competitors, finishing in fourth place - and Lowry's winning declaration clearly stuck with the Oklahoman.
Last weekend, Cam Smith picked up the $4m first prize at LIV Golf Chicago.
But Gooch is a part of the 4 Aces team and, for the fourth event in a row, the Dustin Johnson-skippered outfit claimed the team title.
Afterwards, Gooch took to Instagram to capture the team celebrations on stage with team-mates Johnson, Patrick Reed and Pat Perez.
As loud music played and ticker tape rained down, Gooch showed each player and their jubilant caddies in turn in a video entitled, 'Another one for the good guys'.
Another LIV Golf critic, Rory McIlroy, will also tee it up at St Andrews having secured a top three finish at the Italian Open last weekend.
At the time of writing, 10 LIV golfers are also set to play the tournament, which has a prize pot of €4.8million.
Gooch, Abraham Ancer, Louis Oosthuizen, Charl Schwartzel, Shaun Norris, Branden Grace, Richard Bland, Laurie Canter, Peter Uihlein and Jed Morgan are all down to participate.
