Brooks Koepka sealed his fifth Major title and third Wanamaker Trophy at Oak Hill to mark a monumental moment in the game and for LIV Golf.
After his and Phil Mickelson's T2nd finishes at The Masters, Koepka won the PGA Championship by two strokes to become the first LIV player to win a Major whilst signed to the league.
Could LIV players still play 72-hole events? Are they washed up? Those were just a couple of questions asked prior to Major season and Koepka well and truly answered them at Oak Hill.
The LIV CEO Greg Norman congratulated Koepka and praised his players. "As for the @livgolf_league players they belong and the Majors and golf knows," the Australian wrote on Twitter.
In second-place on the LIV Golf leaderboard was Bryson DeChambeau, who recorded a T4th finish at three-under-par. He was two ahead of Cameron Smith at one-under, with the trio of Koepka, DeChambeau and Smith all featuring inside the top 10.
At Augusta last month, 12 of the 18 made the cut and 11 of the 16 LIV players have made the cut this week at Oak Hill. The five players to miss the weekend were Brendan Steele, Anirban Lahiri, Joaquin Niemann, Talor Gooch - who now looks set to miss the US Open - and Abraham Ancer.
