Dozens of Little Village Discount Mall vendors, unable to operate since leaving the West 26th Street shopping center in March, have a new space lined up — and $500,000 from the city to help them get started, Ald. Byron Sigcho-Lopez (25th) announced Friday.
“After several weeks of uncertainty, they acknowledged the Discount Mall vendors were left out,” Sigcho-Lopez said at a news conference outside Second Federal Bank in Little Village.
