Her 2021 album Sometimes I Might Be Introvert catapulted Simz into the big leagues, crashing into the top 5 of the albums charts, collecting Mercury Music Prize, Mobo, Ivor Novello and Brit Award wins. Then 2022’s surprise drop of NO THANK YOU was a left field turn, described by critics as "sleek, succinct and utterly propulsive".
As an actor Simz continues to carve her own lane and will return in the next and final series of the Netflix drama series Top Boy later this year. Simz has also recently released the *book. A journal redesigned into a coffee table book, it acts as a representation of her journey throughout her life.
