Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock has shared a series of heartwarming photos of her twins on social media to mark their first birthday. The 30-year-old welcomed twins with her partner, footballer Andre Gray, in August last year.
In the touching post she shared with her nine million Instagram followers, the singer said her "life has a whole new meaning” and that she has been "given a miracle". The photographs showed sweet moments from her children's first year, and the first image showed Leigh-Anne in hospital before giving birth.
In the caption she wrote: “Our cubbies turn one today. I am filled with so much emotion, pride but mostly happiness. I never knew how this was going to change my life, being a mum to two incredible little bubbas.
"I am so so grateful and so lucky that I get to wake up to their smiles every morning. My life has a whole new meaning. I have been given a miracle and I will never have the words to express how thankful I am for it.”
The star was inundated with messages from her fans wishing the twins a happy birthday and saying how "cute" the pictures were. Her partner Andre commented on the post: "Never be able to repay you for giving me them, can't thank you enough for that and for being the most incredible mother to my babies, we are so lucky."
The singer-songwriter, originally from High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire announced her engagement to Andre in May 2020 saying she was marrying her "soul mate". They later revealed in May 2021 that they were expecting and shared images of Leigh-Anne cradling her baby bump in a strapless emerald green bra top with flowing sleeves.
Little Mix are currently on a break after 10 years together and winning the X Factor back in 2011. The pop band performed their final concert in May at London’s O2 Arena.
