Jade Thirlwall looks set to be the first member of Little Mix to go solo, after sending a clear indication that something big is coming in the not too distant future.
At the end of last year the girl group, who first shot to fame on The X Factor in 2011, becoming the first band to triumph, announced they'd be going their separate ways after their delayed Confetti tour came to an end. The nationwide tour kicked off in Belfast, before playing to packed audiences in the likes of Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool and Newcastle, where Perrie Edwards got emotional while talking abut how much it meant to her to be on stage at the city's Utilita Arena.
Little Mix's Confetti tour ended at London's O2 Arena on Saturday night and, having been warned by doctors not to perform, Perrie was left crying in bed after the show ended. Jade waited until Friday to post a heartfelt message to fans about the tour ending and Little Mix taking a break, taking to Instagram to write: " I still haven’t really processed this so all I’ll say for now is thank you to anyone and everyone who has been a part of this Confetti tour.
"Thank you to those who have contributed to our success over the years and helped shape us into the group we are today. This tour was a celebration of over 10 years for us and our fans. I’ve left it beaming with pride and my heart so full."
And it's something else that fans have spotted online that has led them to believe that Jade will soon be releasing some solo music. Eagle eyed Twitter users have noticed that an account carrying the handle @jadethirlwall by with the username simply 'Jade' has now been verified with a blue tick.
As well Jade's material is soon to be released, the username ties in with reports that she will be known as just Jade for her solo career. Seeing the blue tick, one fan tweeted: "JADE FINALLY HAS A VERIFIED TWT ACC," with another posting: "she’s verified JADE is coming."
