Little Mix may be on a hiatus but the former girl group are working together to get to the bottom of a string of leaks.
Fans of the group have been left thrilled after a series of unreleased songs made their way onto social media but it appears Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall are far from happy.
Recordings from as far back as 2017 have made their way online leaving those behind the scenes completely bewildered as to who is responsible for the leaks.
Jesy Nelson, who left the group in December 2020 also appears on several of the tracks which have been making their way around social media. It is not suggested that she was behind the leaks.
The Sun reports that bosses at their former label, RCA have launched an investigation into who is responsible for the leaks.
A source told the publication: "The source of the leaks has become a huge concern for RCA who have launched an official investigation. It is frustrating as these songs were never meant to see the light of day.
"What RCA wants to know is who is leaking the songs - and why. Most of the demos and songs being leaked appear to have been recorded around 2017 when the girls were working on their fifth album, LM5."
They added that while bosses understand that material may occasionally be leaked, this appears to be a "constant stream" for the girl group.
Jade has recently addressed the leaks after one demo which was believed to be called Three Fake Friends surfaced.
She told fans: "That song was actually called Pink Champagne, it was for LM5, I don't know how it leaked.
"Pink Champagne was the snipped that leaked for no reason but we move."
Meanwhile, it's been reported that Jesy will be making her return to the music industry after separating from her label, Polydor last summer.
After taking some time out, she returned to social media to tell fans " there will be music soon," but admitted she "wanted to make sure it was perfect" before releasing anything.
Jesy's debut single, which was released in October last year, was surrounded by controversy over alleged black-fishing claims, which the musician has continued to vehemently deny.
A source said: "Jesy knows the single has to be a hit and is giving her all in rehearsals."She is thought to have been practising ever since she returned from her loved-up trip to Jamaica with rapper Zion Foster.
"She has full choreography in the video so as soon as she got back from her holiday she has been going all out in the dance studio.
