A primary schoolboy aged just five has been hailed as a 'little legend' for dialing 999 when his mum was having a serious asthma attack. Oliver Bott was being driven to school by his mum last week when she suffered a near-fatal attack in the car.
Suzanne, 36, was able to pull up on the roadside next to her son's school. Little Oliver, who was sitting in the back of car, managed to climb through to the front where he called 999 and got an ambulance called out. He also alerted the attention of another parent who was able to help further, Surrey Live reports.
Paramedics at the scene said Oliver’s quick thinking may well have saved his mum’s life. Despite the ordeal, he went to school as usual following the incident and Suzanne, who was taken to Royal Surrey County Hospital following the attack, is now making a recovery at home.
