Dublin woke up to snow and ice this morning with the cold snap well and truly setting in and it looks like it's here to stay for at least a week.
For motorists, this means they're faced with the annoying chore of having to scrape ice from the car windscreen before setting off for work in the morning. But thanks to a tip from a driving expert, you don't actually need to stand shivering in the cold as it you can get rid of the ice from inside your car as it's warming up.
UK company Driving Test Success shared a video on their TikTok account ( @drivingtestsuccess ) in which they explained you can clear ice cover by simply activating your car windscreen fan. This will heat up the glass from the inside and easily melt the frost away, reports the Irish Mirror.
