Little boy watched as paramedic was stopped at McDonald's

A paramedic was approached by a thankful stranger as he placed his order at a McDonald's restaurant.

One mum took to social media to share the act of kindness she saw while at McDonald's in Skelmersdale. Writing in a local social media group, she explained that she was there with her son when a man walked in wearing an air ambulance paramedic uniform.

He ordered his food and while he was waiting for his order a woman with her child went up to him and insisted he took some money from her. She wrote that the woman thanked him for "all he does". She posted: "Just thought I’d share a positive post on here because it’s truly warmed my heart.

"Tonight we took our little boy to McDonald’s for his tea and we sat inside. As we were eating, a lovely guy came in wearing his ‘air ambulance paramedic' uniform.

"He ordered his tea and as he was waiting for his order, a lovely lady with her child went up to him and insisted he took some money from her. She thanked him for all he does and really wanted to buy his tea.

"It was just so lovely to see how much he was appreciated. Well done to the lady and child. I have no idea who you are, but it was so so nice of you. Paramedics really are true heroes."

People flooded the comments with similar words. One person said: "How lovely. He'll remember that act of kindness always."

Another person wrote: "Such a lovely gesture, especially when alot of people are struggling with money themselves. Paramedics are bloody marvelous."
