Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been left reeling following the resignations of Chancellor Rishi Sunak and Health Secretary Sajid Javid.

Mr Johnson is battling to remain in No 10 as his handling of the row over scandal-hit former deputy chief whip Chris Pincher became the latest issue to raise questions over his judgment.

The resignations of the Chancellor and Health Secretary mean that 28 ministers have quit Mr Johnson’s Government since he took office.
