A full list of people who will not get the new £400 energy bill discount automatically has been revealed. Worryingly it includes thousands of people across the country.
If you are someone who doesn't pay directly to your energy bill then sadly you won't receive the discount. Along with that people who pay "all-in" also won't qualify for the rebate, according to the government.
Any charges that are made should then be passed onto you from your own landlord, however the government has warned in its promotion of the new scheme. Also this could vary at their own discretion, reports Birmingham Live .

The list doesn't end there as Park Home tenants are also exempt from the discount. You pay a pitch fee to the site owner by a park homeowner and in return you can use the site and its facilities.
However all is not lost as the site manager could then lower how much you pay that month and then pass the discount onto renters, according to the government. The Culture minister Chris Philp has said that he will give his £400 energy bill rebate to a charity.
Asked by LBC's Nick Ferrari if he is going to follow Chancellor Rishi Sunak's lead, Mr Philp said: "I hadn't thought about that until you asked, Nick, but I think that's a good idea. Yes, I'm going to give it to a local charity in Croydon."
